Embossing and Debossing for Board Game Boxes

Embossing 3

Emphasize your board game box design with custom embossing (raised edges) or debossing (sunken edges) … or both! Embossing and debossing are great additions to any custom board game packaging, and add a great tactile element to your board game box. This feature is only available for your game’s packaging. Although this option is not available for game boards, we provide something similar for cards: if you want to offer a tactile experience through your cards, try our linen texture finish.

Embossing and Debossing with Foil Stamping

Deboss stamp

Embossing and debossing on a board game box pairs well with specialty features such as spot UV or foil stamping. The photo on the right displays a debossed package gold foil line stretching vertically at the edge of the deck box. You can also spot an embossed “White” text with gold foil stamped on top. Both options are beautiful and work well in unison.

Blind Embossing and Debossing on Boxes

Blind Emboss

Blind embossing or debossing occurs when the effect is applied to a blank spot on the paper, meaning no ink or specialty option is present to make the feature more visible. It’s a spectacular way to enhance your design or to subtly add a secret message to your board game box.
