Custom Board Game Screens
Screens can offer an area for players to hide valuable information or reference information that other players shouldn’t see. Production and Material
Our board game screens are made using a similar process as the cover for a casebound book. We cut sheets of high-density paperboard and then wrap them with a printed, finished parent sheet. In order to produce a hinge, we use a gluing and folding process to create a neat seam.
Panel Options
Our custom screens come in either two or three panels. A two-panel board game screen has one fold (hinge) and is comparable to that of opening a hardcover book. Three-panel screens are produced as a long rectangle then molded into two outer panels that fold inwards toward the center panel.
Two-panel screens are a common option and work very well. If you have a larger area that you need to cover it or the game allows several players to play, a three-panel screen may be the better choice.
Screen Size
Your screen size must be smaller than the size or your board game box. If you choose a three-panel option then you can have a larger screen while still fitting inside your box. Multiple Variants
Typically, board games require each player to have their own screen. You can decide to have each screen printed with the same artwork or provide different art for each piece. For example, if you’d like to have 5 screens per game each with different artwork then we’ll need to know that you need 5 variants.
