Traditional Endsheet Setup Considerations
PLEASE NOTE: Endsheets only apply to HARDCOVER (Casebound) projects and are automatically included in hardcover projects with 60 or more pages. Additionally, they are only printed on 105 lb. uncoated stock.
Below is a video example showing endsheets in a printed book:
If needed, we recommend reading more about them here and here.
When setting up your interior page artwork, traditional endsheet artwork should be the first three pages of your document and the last three pages of your document. It’s important to note that the endsheets do not count toward your interior page count. So, for example, let’s say you have a project that is 64 pages. Your interior page document should include 70 pages. Pages 1-3 are the front endsheets and pages 68-70 are the back endsheets. This leaves 64 additional pages, hence, the page count of 64!
