Box Geometries

Box geometry simply refers to the shape of your box and the style of closure. By and large, the shape of your box will be dictated by the object you are packaging.  Sometimes the closure or geometry will be a marketing decision to achieve a certain look.

A traditional item like a hot sauce might work just fine with a reverse tuck end box, but a higher-end item like jewelry might work better in a tray and sleeve or pillow box style.

Each of our box geometry options has its own list of available sizes within the budgetary calculator. If you don’t see the dimensions you need, try selecting a different geometry with more sizes. Please keep in mind: all of our sizes are custom — our calculator is budgetary, meaning that it is to help you get in the general ballpark of what your project will cost. Pick the size that is, in general, closest to your desired final size.

Some box geometries will have pre-glued portions on them for ease of assembly. Please see the illustrations below for information on where some of these geometries are pre-glued. Please note that our Display Tray, Two Piece Box, and the Tray portion of Tray and Sleeve box styles do not come pre-glued and will stay together without glue; however, you may want to add glue to these styles once you’ve received them to make these styles more durable.
